Parent and Carers Coffee Mornings

First Thursday of every month, in school, parents or carers have the opportunity to meet one another, along with one or two regular staff members, and chat or share ideas etc over a tea or coffee. All of our parents and carers are welcome to attend and you don't need to book in advance - just check that it is not rescheduled.

We meet first Thursday of every month in the morning between 9:30 and 11:00

Home - School Diaries

Although we meet with our parents and carers regularly throughout the year we are also very proud of our close contact with home. Every pupil has a home-school book in which both parents and staff can liaise to share concerns or achievements and to ask questions.

Along with telephone calls, as required, we like to think that this close communication between home and school will help to ensure the very best support and continuity of care is available for each child.

Annual Reviews

All of our children have a Statement of Education. As such we review the progress of pupils with all those involved in the care and education of each child. Meetings may be with just carers and staff or it may include doctors, speech and language therapists, occupational therapits or physiotherapists.

Here we discuss how things are going at home and at school and address any issues to ensure the best continuity of care.

We also have the usual parents evenings twice a year.
